BlackStone Merlot 2005 - The 2005 Blackstone Merlot perfectly demonstrates the "Blackstone style" - rich fruit aromas, elegance, supple oak characters and soft tannins. With lifted dark cherry and berry aromas and a touch of spicy clove, this wine is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Fetzer Merlot 2005 - You’ll first notice a rich, medium Ruby Red color in this Merlot, with aromas ofblack cherry, cassis, red licorice, plum and a hint of sage, balanced with notes from the oak aging, including vanilla, toffee and toasty oak. The light to medium tannins provide some heft for the wine, easing into a soft structure that offers a well balanced wine that’s easy to drink. Fetzer Cabernet 2005 - On the nose you’ll find deep, rich aromas of blackberry, cassis, cherry and vanilla, with evident spice from the oak and a hint of herbs.
